Getting Your Logo To Us
You can send your logo via email attachment, to info@jasmineapparels.net
You can send your logo in many different types of formats. Logos sent in vector formats are preferred. File types such as Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw would be our primary choices. Other common types such as .jpeg, .gif, and .tif are acceptable. The logo you send should be actual size or larger, with a resolution of at least 150 dots per inch. 300 dots per inch is preferable. But ensure your file sizes are not more than 1MB
Fonts:
If you know the name of the font used in the text of your logo please include the Font. There are thousands of type styles and it can be difficult to determine which of them your organization has chosen. Identifying the font ahead of time can avoid time consuming delays.
Set-ups and Fees
Converting your custom logo into embroidery-ready form requires our graphics department to turn your logo in stitches. Set-up charges apply for custom logos. High stitch count logos, large size embroidery requires higher stitch density and will cost more in set-up and run charges.
Additions, deletions or alterations from the original design you provided will be charged as alteration fee. If you wish to cancel your order a cancellation fee will be charged depending on the order status.
There are NO setup fees for existing customers who already have their logo in embroidery-ready format.
Screen printing:
Our in-house screen printing department can print your one to seven color art work on light or dark colored garments. For screen printing it is necessary to receive vector art, (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) If it is not possible to send vector art, a "re-draw" fee may apply. You will be notified if this charge is necessary. Once we have the logo re-drawn it is available to use in any application without further ART charges.
Screen charges:
Every color in your design requires a screen of its own. You will be billed for screen charges.
Problem Logos/Designs:
Some logos can not be embroidered as is. Our team will evaluate your logo at no charge and advise you as to any technical issues that can make the logo problematic for embroidery. If we find any problems we will notify you. Design elements which create problems include text which is too small (generally text should be ¼ inch tall or greater), color gradations, and shadowing around text or graphics. When we encounter these problems we will work with you to find acceptable alterations which will keep the integrity of your logo intact.
Colors:
Jasmine Apparels will attempt to reproduce the colors of your logo as seen in the file attachment you send us. If your organization requires specific Pantone colors, include that information in an e-mail to us or in the comments section of our upload tool. We will make every attempt to reproduce your exact logo colors, but please be aware that the thread color may vary slightly from the Pantone color.
Production Time:
Depends on many factors however production will usually take three to five weeks from the day we receive your order and approval of all relevant matters. We can process faster deliveries on special cases.
Shipping :
Shipping to you will be through GATI, DHL,other couriers or transporter as per your advise. Be aware that we will not be held responsible for delayed delivery in the event of late approval notification or transporter problem.
Trademarked Logos:
Jasmine Apparels reserves the right to require written notice from an authorized employee granting permission to reproduce the certain trademarked logos.
Image Size & Resolution
Be aware that images cannot be printed larger than they come to us. Best results are obtained from images that are high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and larger than the area you request them to be printed into. Images taken from web sites are not high-resolution and cannot be reproduced well on a T-shirt.
Additional Information
Please don't create your art in a word processing program! Such a design usually winds up having to be recreated almost from scratch in the correct program. It is unfortunate when someone spends a lot of time and effort creating a design, only to find out after it's finished that the design can not be used because it was created in the wrong program. A program like Microsoft Word comes with a good selection of clip art, and allows you to create graphics, shapes and text effects in many colors, but it is difficult (and often times impossible) to print color separations from word processing programs so you wind up with a design that looks great on your monitor, or prints out nicely on your ink jet printer, but is unusable as art for screen printing. Also, please don't change the format of your design just to make it easier to email.
Artwork for transfer printing is affected by the shirt color. For example, on a yellow shirt a blue image will appear green after pressing (and a green image may be distorted blue). Additionally, the background of transfers will always be clear so white does not appear. All white areas of the design will print clear, thus revealing the color of the shirt. For example, if you have a blue shirt, white areas in the design will show the blue color of the shirt.
Digital Printing and Photo Printing
- Our direct-to-garment printing technology offers vibrant, FULL color designs and photo prints never before offered. We can print your custom designed shirts as large as 13" wide X 11" high. Direct digital isn’t as restrictive as traditional screen printing.
- Vector art, high resolution bitmap images or even a digital camera photos can be used for your custom designed tshirts. There’s no concern for spot vs. process color, as printing is done directly from the computer to the tshirt printer. Create your digital art design files so they can be opened in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or CorelDRAW. Graphics should be actual
Screenprinting
- Screen printing is durable and offer good vibrancy. We use this process when larger quantities are needed. Screen printing uses spot color, as there is a screen setups for every color in the design. Over a large quantity of shirts your per unit costs can be lower than digital printing.
